The X-rays in the Multi-wavelength, Multi-Messenger Era SWG will be responsible for identifying outstanding science questions with synergies with other space- and ground-based observatories such as WFIRST and LSST as well as gravitational wave detectors, developing a compelling science case, and aiding the STDT with producing a mission concept that best addresses these questions.
